Jackson Healthcare is seeking an IT Support Technician for our growing headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. We are looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail, loves to learn and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will:

• Answer technical support phone calls and provide Tier 1 support to our associates
• Log all calls in our ITSM tool and triage and escalate issues as appropriate
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-accountability, quick paced and dynamic environment
• Utilize exceptional written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
• Demonstrate dedication to exceptional customer service

Requirements

Necessary Skills:

• Experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS operating systems. 
• Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi and cellular data service, and experience configuring client devices
• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN concepts, VLANs, switches and routers
• Understanding of VPN principles
• Experience with Active Directory, account management, distribution lists, and network permissions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to listen and understand associates’ concerns and issues to provide the best service possible
• Ability to speak confidently to customers, making technical jargon easy to understand
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge, and providing creative solutions
• Ability to document technical resolutions for future reference

Required Experience:

• This position requires a high school diploma and 1-3 years of related
• A+ or Microsoft MCP certification desired
• MCSA, HDI, or other certifications or degree desired

Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Participate in shared afterhours rotation which includes additional pay and work from home
• Additional working hours as required
• Flexibility to work early or late shifts as needed
• Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects such as computers and peripherals
