The IS&T Help Desk serves a campus community of over 17,000 students and 1,800 employees. The IT Support Lead supervises the IS&T Help Desk team to assure operational needs are met with quality, empathy, and professional attention utilizing IT Service Management System (ServiceNow) and Remote Support System (Beyond Trust).

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience leading user support teams including setting priorities, resolving conflicts, performance evaluations, and performance coaching; managing complex projects and creating schedules, and operating ITSM systems. Strong analytical, technical and organizational skills and experience working with a diverse constituency are also valued in this position.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Two years of hands-on technical experience
Two years of experience managing a Help Desk

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in high volume customer service environment
Experience operating ITSM systems (ServiceNow and ITIL)
Understanding of ITIL framework
Experience working in a higher education environment
Experience recruiting, training and mentoring
