Simmons University Services & Support Team has the responsibility of supporting the Simmons community with their technology needs.  Offering front line support for supporting and keeping audio/visual equipment and end user devices current, secure with a focus on meeting our customers’ needs. 

Applicants must have experience in an IT technical support role; proven problem-solving and troubleshooting ability; experience supporting audio/visual equipment; strong communication/interpersonal capabilities; a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; and excellent planning and organization skills.

Minimum 1 year experience with three of the following:

• Multi-media/classroom technology and equipment installation, troubleshooting, and support.

• Set-up of multi-media equipment for special events.

• Computer (Dell and Apple) hardware/software troubleshooting and support.

• Application software, printer, and basic networking support. 

Position requires working mornings, evenings and weekends.
